Reports to the Controller responsible for Financial Statements reporting in compliance with GAAP and overseeing year-end audit, generating year-end cash basis financial statement for profit distribution calculation, and preparing and reviewing tax statements/filing (federal, state, and local). Remote role.

Responsibilities:
Assure that all accounting is done in accordance with GAAP, including evaluation of stipend and patient accounts receivable, evaluation of payroll and other liabilities, and maintenance of ownership equity.

Create and maintain a system of internal controls to safeguard enterprise assets.

Oversee the daily operation and function of AP and AR team.

Generate GAAP basis entity financial statements and departmental and site-related income statements and balance sheets.

Convert GAAP basis medical group income statement and balance sheets to cash basis for cash basis income distributions and for tax return preparation.

Present financial information to CFO and Finance leaders.

Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Assist the Controller on reviewing all corporate and partnership tax returns prepared by our tax advisor.

Review and understand all state and local tax.

Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.

Requirements:
CPA/CMA with 10+ years of related experience. Solid understanding of US tax code. Strong knowledge of partnership tax Health care industry required skills:
