Our client, a global manufacturing leader, is seeking a Controller to join its finance leadership team. This is a highly visible role with responsibility for financial reporting, operational finance, process improvement, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close + Own financial reporting and statement accuracy + Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and accruals + Support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reporting + Manage cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing finance activities + Drive process improvements and systems enhancements + Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness + Partner with operations and business leaders + Develop, mentor, and lead accounting staff
Requirements Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance + 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience + Leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial, or product-based environments + Strong U.S. GAAP and financial reporting knowledge + Experience managing the full close process + Cost accounting and inventory accounting exposure + Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills + Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment + ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ CPA and/or Master's degree + Public accounting background + Global or public company experience + Multi-site manufacturing exposure + ERP implementation or systems project experience
