Job Description

Working Conditions:
No remote work or hybrid arrangements. This position is 100% on site.
Requirements:
Position Summary Senior-level accounting professional responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role reports to the Director of Finance and plays a critical role in financial planning, process improvement, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop budgets, monitor spending, and forecast financial performance.
Internal Controls:
Design, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and support compliance.
Audit Oversight:
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely, accurate reporting and issue resolution.
Regulatory & Tax Compliance:
Support compliance with applicable tax laws and financial regulations, as applicable.
Team Leadership:
Lead and develop accounting staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Strategic Support:
Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support leadership decisions and long-term planning.
Systems & Process Improvement:
Support ERP and financial systems enhancements, including automation, reporting improvements, and data integrity. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Analytical Skills:
Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
Leadership:
Proven experience leading accounting teams and partnering cross-functionally.
Strategic Thinking:
Supports planning, resource allocation, and operational decision-making.
Communication:
Clear, concise communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Project Management:
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and process improvement initiatives.
Technical Proficiency:
Comfortable with ERPs, reporting tools, data analytics, and workflow automation.
Integrity:
High standards of ethics, confidentiality, and judgment. ERP Experience (Preferred): Experience supporting or leading ERP implementations/upgrades (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE), including data migration, integration, and reporting enhancements. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience required.
Preferred:
3+ years in an operating unit controller role.
