This permanent role will guide financial reporting, strengthen accounting operations, and provide leadership across a distributed team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound business judgment, and the ability to turn complex financial activity into clear reporting and practical recommendations for leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Direct core accounting operations, including oversight of the general ledger, account structure, and financial records to maintain accuracy and compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle by setting timelines, reviewing entries and reconciliations, and ensuring dependable financial results are delivered on schedule.
  • Produce and review financial statements, supporting schedules, accruals, reserves, and other key accounting documentation required for internal and external reporting.
  • Lead accounting for revenue activities by applying appropriate guidance to deposits, deferred revenue, cancellations, refunds, commissions, rebates, and related adjustments.
  • Evaluate complex accounting matters and document conclusions for transactions involving areas such as leases, intangible assets, and business combinations.
  • Oversee intercompany accounting activity, including reconciliations, eliminations, and reporting coordination across affiliated entities and the parent organization.
  • Partner with FP&A and business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and cash flow planning tied to seasonality and supplier payment cycles.
  • Develop reporting packages, performance metrics, and variance analyses that help executive leadership assess financial results, operational trends, and potential risks.
  • Supervise and mentor a geographically dispersed accounting team while improving workflows, strengthening controls, and introducing automation that supports scalable growth.
  • Coordinate external audit activities, manage compliance obligations, and support process enhancements related to financial systems and reporting operations.
