Oversee Accounting Operations:
Manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, cash management, and revenue processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and strengthening internal controls.Drive Financial StrategyReporting:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation, while delivering actionable insights and profitability analysis to support executive decision-making.Support Strategic Growth:
Develop financial models and analyses to guide investments, acquisitions, and operational improvements, acting as a key business partner to the executive team.Qualified Candidates Should Possess:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Seven or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience. Three or more years of leadership experience in a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar financial leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial analysis. Experience within an insurance brokerage, employee benefits, consulting, professional services, or agency environment is preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software platforms. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial information and communicate insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Familiarity with commission-based revenue accounting and insurance carrier compensation structures. Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on capacities within a growing organization. Experience leading teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.
