full-time Company Overview HIA Software's Corporate Controller will lead our core internal financial and accounting operations. In this role, you will act as the master user and financial architect of our hospitality ERP system for HIA, built on Acumatica. Your role is ensuring accurate accounting, robust internal controls, and deep operational insights. You will be directly responsible for establishing, tracking, and optimizing financial and operational metrics across the portfolio.

Responsibilities System Ownership:

Manage the day-to-day general ledger, Accounts Payable, and all other financial activity inside the HIA Software platform. Ensure Accounts Receivable is correct and current, with accurate billing for all hotels and other billed entities as customers add or subtract properties; track and maintain AR collection targets.

Portfolio Close:

Oversee the monthly and annual financial close and ensure GAAP compliance. Deliver P&L and metrics by the 21st of the following month, with a mandate to shorten the close to 10 business days within the first year.

Revenue Recognition:

Own ASC 606 compliance, including deferred revenue schedules, contract modifications as customers add or remove properties, and capitalized commissions under

ASC 340-40.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred). 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience as a Corporate Controller.

Preferred:
