Director of Finance Williamsville, NY | Full-Time | $95,000-$115,000 Annually Lead the Financial Future of a Mission-Driven Organization The Arc Erie County New York is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead our Finance Department and help drive the financial success of one of Western New York's largest nonprofit organizations serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This leadership role partners closely with the CFO and executive team to oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, audits, grants, cash management, and long-range financial planning. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of finance professionals. Oversee monthly financial reporting, annual audits, CFR preparation, and regulatory compliance. Manage agency budgeting and financial planning processes. Supervise grant and contract financial administration. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Oversee cash management, investments, banking relationships, and internal controls. Preferred Qualifications One of the following is required: Master's degree in business administration or related field (or CPA) and four years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience; OR Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and seven years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience; OR A Degree in Accounting or related field and fifteen years of related experience, including ten years of supervisory experience.
Strongly Preferred:
Nonprofit finance experience. Experience with government funding sources, grants, and regulatory reporting. Experience leading financial audits and compliance initiatives. Work Location This position is based in our Williamsville Corporate Office and requires an on-site presence five days per week. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.
