Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Controller, you will play a critical role in our financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing all aspects of financial management, including cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting. 2. Analyzing project costs and providing detailed financial reports to management. 3. Working closely with project managers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. 4. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. 5. Providing financial advice and guidance to project managers and other stakeholders. 6. Identifying potential financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. 7. Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. 8. Conducting financial audits and reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the engineering or construction industry. 3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis. 4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 6. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 8. A detail-oriented approach, with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. 9. A commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
