ATP North America is seeking a Plant Controller to serve as a key business partner to plant leadership. This role is responsible for providing financial analysis, cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance reporting to support strategic decision-making and improve plant performance. The Plant Controller will work closely with operations and leadership teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, improve profitability, and ensure compliance with financial policies and corporate standards.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Partner with plant leadership to provide financial guidance and support operational decision- making. Develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing costs, productivity, and plant performance. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the facility. Analyze financial results and investigate variances between actual and planned performance. Support capital investment projects through financial analysis and cost monitoring. Lead regular KPI review meetings with plant management and key stakeholders. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies. Manage plant cost-closing activities, including data collection, allocation updates, and cost reporting. Ensure compliance with company financial procedures, accounting principles, and corporate standards. Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports to support business initiatives and management requests. Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to improve plant performance. Share best practices and collaborate with other finance and controlling professionals across the organization. Support inventory control and working capital management initiatives. Assist leadership in evaluating business cases, investments, and strategic opportunities through financial modeling and analysis. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance. Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and cost accounting principles. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred. Strong financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence business decisions. Preferred CPA, CMA, MBA, or other advanced financial credentials. Experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial Engineering. Knowledge of financial planning, variance analysis, and inventory management.
