Job Description

Leads the organization's financial management, ensuring responsible stewardship of funds in a non-profit environment. This role oversees budgeting, accounting, compliance, and audits, while providing strategic financial guidance to leadership and the Board. Key Responsibilities Financial Administration Receive and record all contributions and donations Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments Oversee accounts payable and process bank deposits Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage deposits Enter financial records into accounting systems and maintain accurate documentation Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including: Adjusting entries for amortization, depreciation, transfers, and deposits Account balance and activity reports Transactions for all bank accounts Quarterly 941 tax reports Quarterly unemployment insurance reports Annual W-2, W-3, and 1099 forms Implement and manage the annual budgeting process Payroll & HR Support Process biweekly payroll Maintain employee payroll, benefit, and Paid Time Off records Maintain accurate and up to date employee personel files Manage employee benefit records, 941 tax deposits, and unemployment insurance filings Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulations Reporting & Compliance Complete monthly, year-end, and grant-related financial reports Prepare monthly and annual financial, food, and attendance reports Complete annual Child and Adult Food Program applications - including managing and reviewing free, reduced and paid meal application Track, document, and report fundraising income and expenses Manage grant financial reporting and compliance requirements Prepare workman comp audit information Complete 403b census year end report Audit & Board Support Lead the annual audit process, including preparing financial records and responding to auditor inquiries Attend Board of Directors meetings Prepare and distribute Board packets Record and maintain accurate meeting minutes Additional Support Assist with fundraising events as needed Support the Executive Director with financial records and special projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma required: Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred Experience in accounting and financial management Strong knowledge in QuickBooks Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas and basis reporting Good organizational and time management skills
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
