- Key Responsibilities Oversee accounting, billing, payroll, AR, revenue cycle, and financial operations Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, KPIs, and variance analysis Prepare financial statements and present reporting to leadership and the Board Supervise a small team across finance, billing, payroll, AR, and accounting Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, process improvement, and financial decision-making Monitor billing, reimbursement, payer revenue, claims, collections, and revenue stream performance Work with outside CPA firm on audit preparation and compliance Create and improve workflows, SOPs, dashboards, reporting, and internal controls Support vendor, payer, insurance, and partner negotiations as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 5-8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Supervisory or team leadership experience required Healthcare, nonprofit, multi-location, billing, reimbursement, revenue cycle, or payer revenue experience strongly preferred Strong budgeting, forecasting, KPI, dashboard, variance analysis, and financial reporting experience CPA, CMA, CFA, or master's degree is a plus Strong Excel, systems, reporting, and analytical skills Ability to lead teams, improve processes, and partner with executive leadership Stable work history preferred A bit about us:•A well-established nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking a hands-on finance leader to oversee accounting, billing, revenue cycle, payroll, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and financial operations.
