Back Plant Controller Controller Franklin , Massachusetts Perm 120000 Oct 8, 2026 $120000.00 - $130000.00 A manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Plant Controller to lead financial operations for its U.S. manufacturing facility. This role oversees accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control while partnering with plant leadership to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Oversee general accounting, cost accounting, inventory, and internal controls. Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, spending, and working capital to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with plant leadership to support business decisions, pricing, capital investments, and profitability initiatives. Manage audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting requirements. Improve finance processes, standardize workflows, and leverage Microsoft Copilot and approved automation tools to increase efficiency. Lead, coach, and develop the local Finance team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Seven or more years of progressive accounting or controlling experience, including manufacturing and team leadership. Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvement.
