Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting and Analysis Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost control and improvement. Provide insightful financial reports to family leadership to support strategic decision-making. Cost Management Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness. Collaborate with operations teams to optimize production processes and reduce costs. Inventory Management Oversee inventory control procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts. Monitor inventory turnover rates and identify potential issues with slow-moving or obsolete inventory. Compliance and Internal Controls Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards (GAAP) and tax regulations. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to facilitate the audit and tax return preparation processes. Budgeting and Forecasting Develop operating budgets for all departments, aligning with company goals. Regularly monitor budget variances and take corrective actions as needed.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor the team of accounting and IT professionals, including day-to-day supervision and performance management. Foster a collaborative work environment and promote continuous improvement within the accounting and technology departments. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA a plus, not required) Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus, ideally with a family-owned business Experience with job cost is required. Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with family leadership and cross-functional teams Seeking an honest, humble leader who exercises sound judgment in performing their duties Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Work Arrangement is in office
