Assistant Plant Controller

We are seeking an Assistant Plant Controller to support a manufacturing facility in driving financial performance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role will partner closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement of processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting and finance within a manufacturing environment, along with the ability to analyze data and support strategic decision-making.

5% Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 1+ years of experience in controlling, accounting, or finance (manufacturing environment preferred) Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general systems aptitude Experience working with ERP systems or ability to quickly learn new systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Effective communication and ability to collaborate across departments Key Responsibilities Support financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls Analyze and report on plant performance including costs, inventory, and operational metrics Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting Maintain and validate standard costing and inventory accuracy Enter and manage financial data within ERP systems Partner with operations, purchasing, and quality teams to support cost control and process improvements Monitor and support cash flow activities including inventory and capital expenditures Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to analyze complex data and present actionable insights Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving ability High level of integrity and professionalism Zing Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
