ADAMA is one of the world's leading crop protection companies and we have an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join our global finance organization as Assistant Controller. ADAMA is publicly listed in China and also holds publicly traded debt in Israel. We are also part of a global group of companies. As such, the financial reporting team deals regularly with a diverse and elaborate set of financial reports in Israel and China for numerous stakeholders. The financial reporting team is deeply integrated with and involved in global processes that require financial input and analysis. The Assistant Controller reports to the Global Accounting Projects Leader and will be based in ADAMA's global headquarters in Airport City, Israel. This team has many interfaces and works with ADAMA's global subsidiaries, auditors, external consultants, parent company and other related parties.

This role is an outsourced position that will support the global accounting team for at least 1.5 years.

The focus of this team is on key projects including: Responsible for SOX compliance for the Group, including implementation and management of SOX processes from end-to-end

Implement new accounting standards

Support the preparation of the various financial statements of ADAMA's dual traded legal entities in China and Israel, according to requirements of IFRS and PRC (People's Republic of China) GAAP

Support and involve the quarterly/annual consolidation process of the group subsidiaries' financial statements

Cross-functional high-impact special global projects

Education/Experience:

Certified Public Accountant

    At least 2-3 years of experience (including internship) in either one of the BIG 4 within an audit team for public traded/ reporting companies or as an Assistant Controller in a global company

    Familiarity with IFRS
  • mandatory
Language Skills:

Fluency in written and spoken English and Hebrew
