Job Description
ADAMA is one of the world's leading crop protection companies and we have an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join our global finance organization as Assistant Controller. ADAMA is publicly listed in China and also holds publicly traded debt in Israel. We are also part of a global group of companies. As such, the financial reporting team deals regularly with a diverse and elaborate set of financial reports in Israel and China for numerous stakeholders. The financial reporting team is deeply integrated with and involved in global processes that require financial input and analysis. The Assistant Controller reports to the Controller and will be based in ADAMA's global headquarters in Airport City, Israel.
This role is an outsourced position that will support the global accounting team for at least 1.5 years.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the accounting department: Preparation of the various financial statements of ADAMA's dual traded legal entities in China and Israel, according to requirements of IFRS and PRC (People's Republic of China) GAAP
Working with ADAMA's shareholders, Syngenta Group.
Ensuring data accuracy and completeness of all reported numbers and aligning data to IFRS and
PRC GAAP
regulations
Consolidation process of the group subsidiaries' financial statements
Overseeing accounting procedures and dealing with significant accounting issues
Implement automation, systems and improvements in collaboration with Finance IT Contribute to the Company's annual Work Plan and business estimations
SOX compliance for the Group
Cross-functional high-impact special global projects

Education/Experience:
Certified Public Accountant
- mandatory
At least 3 years of experience in either one of the BIG 4 within an audit team for public traded/ reporting companies or as an Assistant Controller in a global company - mandatory
Familiarity with IFRS - mandatory
Experience with IT systems and proficiency in all
MS Office Language Skills:
Fluency in written and spoken English and Hebrew CVs in English only
