statements, KPIs, and business trends with sharp executive-level variance explanations
Own the quarterly earnings process end-to-end: quarterly MD&A, board financial presentations,
and executive Q&A materials
Build and continuously improve the financial models and reporting frameworks that drive
decision-making across the business
Tax
Oversee all federal, state, and local tax compliance and planning
Oversee sales and use tax and property tax management
Partner with external advisors to ensure tax structuring is integrated into M&A diligence and
transaction planning
Treasury
Manage liquidity, cash forecasting, and working capital optimization
Oversee banking relationships, debt compliance, and covenant reporting
Support capital structure decisions in partnership with PE sponsors and lenders
M&A & Strategic Finance
Play a key role in evaluating acquisition targets from financial diligence through integration
Partner with the CEO and board on strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and growth
investments
Translate complex financial data into clear narratives for sponsors and lenders
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and grow a team of direct reports spanning FP&A, Tax, and Treasury functions
Establish the processes, systems, and culture of a high-performing finance team
WHAT YOU BRING
12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role
Deep FP&A expertise with a track record of building financial planning processes in complex
environments
Solid working knowledge of tax and treasury functions
Experience in a PE-backed company strongly preferred; M&A experience is a significant plus
Exceptional communication skills you can distill complexity for any audience, from plant
managers to PE sponsors
A bias for action and a track record of driving results, not just reporting them
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
Experience in industrials, manufacturing, transportation, or related sectors is a plus industries
