Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a rapidly growing manufacturing organization that is expanding its market presence through strategic acquisitions and continued investment in its operations and finance organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Controller to partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership team while helping strengthen the company's financial infrastructure as it scales.

This position offers significant visibility and the opportunity to make an immediate impact across cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, inventory, internal controls, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is a strong accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to grow with an organization that is building for the future.

C0MKey Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reporting.
  • Manage cost accounting, including standard costs, labor, materials, and overhead.
  • Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial forecasting.
  • Prepare and analyze budget-to-actual results and provide variance explanations.
  • Develop financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support management decision-making.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and senior leadership to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee ERP accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Coordinate external audits and provide required financial documentation and support.
  • Support financial due diligence, integration, and accounting activities related to strategic acquisitions.
  • Serve as a key financial advisor to the CFO and leadership team, providing analysis and recommendations to support growth.
