Rebel Athletic is looking for a seasoned Controller to lead the financial operations of a hyper-growth apparel company in Carrollton, TX. • 5+ years as a Controller, preferably in apparel/manufacturing/retail
• Strong NetSuite experience, ideally with some implementation experience
• Audit and compliance background
• They should have been part of at least 2 audits in their past, look to understand their specific role on each
• Proven ability to establish processes and structure in high-growth environments
• Ask for examples
• Comfortable mentoring an accounting team
• Exposure to private equity board reporting and presentation creation
• FP&A experience is a plus

Sales & Use Tax expertise, manufacturing experience, multi-channel familiarity

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, month-end close, consolidation, and financial statements
• Develop and implement robust accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable processes
• Prepare and deliver monthly/quarterly/annual financial packages for management and private equity board review
• Lead annual audit and tax compliance; manage relationships with external auditors
• Supervise and mentor an accounting team; foster professional development
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial modeling initiatives
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements and automation
• Support financial due diligence and ad-hoc reporting for growth initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years as a Controller in manufacturing/retail/apparel or relevant industries
• Proven NetSuite implementation, optimization, or deep usage experience
• Strong experience with external audits and compliance
• Skilled in establishing/process structuring for fast-growing firms
• Management experience supervising teams
• Excellent abilities in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prior exposure to private equity board reporting and investor communication preferred
• Exceptional Excel proficiency
