Type:

full-time Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing, privately held organization to identify an Assistant Controller who is ready to step into a highly visible leadership role with significant impact across the accounting function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical side of accounting and partnering with leadership to improve processes, mentor staff, and support strategic growth. What you'll be doing: Lead the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review financial statements and reporting packages Oversee the general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis Partner with the Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Assist with audits, internal controls, and compliance initiatives Mentor and develop members of the accounting team Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies across the finance organization What they're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
