Job Description:
We are currently partnering with a well-established regional real estate developer to identify an Assistant Controller to join their team in the DFW area. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, offering strong visibility and leadership responsibility within a growing organization. We're open to two profiles: A strong public accounting (Big 4 or similar) Manager ready to transition into the industry OR An industry accounting professional (homebuilding/construction experience preferred) stepping into a management role Location Irving, Texas In-office 5 days/week
Compensation Base:
$135K-$170
K Bonus:
15% Qualifications Bachelor's in Accounting (required) CPA is required 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience 3+ years of leadership experience Public accounting background strongly preferred Experience in residential construction/homebuilding is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee general ledger and accounting operations across multiple entities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage audit processes and external relationships Drive process improvements, internal controls, and system optimization Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives Lead, mentor, and develop an accounting team If you are interested in learning more about the opportunity, please reach out to Thun Lennert at tlennert@boltongroup.com
