JOB DESCRIPTION
FINANCIAL
CONTROLLER OVERVIEW
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. Play a crucial part in ensuring the integrity of financial information and compliance with regulatory requirements.
JOB DUTIES
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory authorities. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts. Monitor and analyze budget performance and provide variance analysis reports. Recommend and implement strategies for cost control and revenue enhancement.
Internal Controls:
Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations. Conduct periodic internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and identify areas for improvement. Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide insights into financial performance, trends, and forecasts. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Team Management:
Supervise and mentor a financial and accounting team. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team's performance meets or exceeds expectations. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
