Senior Branch Controller PCI is seeking an operations-minded Senior Branch Controller to support our businesses in its PCI Houston 115 operations based in Pasadena, Texas . This individual's primary role is to function as a key member of the branch management teams and to be responsible for the overall financial management of these operations.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead the development and management of the branch's annual budget, monthly forecasts and overall financial planning process. Manage the strategic financial vision of the branch and be the knowledge expert on the overall financial direction, both short-term and long-term. Provide in-depth analysis of financial performance and profitability by identifying trends, risks and opportunities within assigned markets. Partner with project managers and branch leadership to assess the financial impact of ongoing and future projects. Continuously add value to company and branch leadership by providing financial insights into strategic decision making (e.g., capital assets and other investment decisions). Collaborate with branch departments (Operations, Estimating and Administration) to ensure alignment on financial and operational goals. Financial Controls Manage internal controls and best practices to mitigate financial risk, in adherence to company policies. Oversee day-to-day financial operations for the branch, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting. Ensure the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and subledgers. Drive a culture of cash flow discipline across the branch, influencing operations and project teams on timely billing, collections and working capital decisions. Ensure proper cost tracking for projects, including labor, materials and all other costs.
Salary Range:
$104,400-$140,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management or related discipline. 5-10 years of experience in financial management with controllership and/or FP&A focus Ability to consistently meet deadlines and exhibit flexibility to change. Ability to navigate and lead change management and growth initiatives. Positive attitude, high level of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across organizational functions. MBA, CPA or other relevant certification industry preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a team environment. Willingness & ability to visit project sites in Houston and Pasadena areas. Ability to multitask and stay organized. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word. Ability to travel to Corporate office in Kansas City and other locations for company meetings on a minimal basis. Experience in the construction industry preferred.
