Job Description
As Vice President in Global Banking P&A, you will be instrumental in elevating client profitability data accuracy/ integrity. You will deliver actionable insights, oversee month-end close, and drive collaboration across global teams—upholding rigorous standards of accuracy and data integrity while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the month-end close process for client profitability Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reconciliations and reporting Prepare, review, and present monthly financial results and variance analysis Present key performance indicators and profitability trends to senior management Develop and deliver analytics to support business decisions Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy Demonstrate robust risk management and adherence to policies Foster a culture of accountability across the team Serve as a key point of contact for business partners and senior leadership Champion collaboration and teamwork across global teams Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 10+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business finance Advanced understanding of month-end close processes, financial controls, and profitability analysis Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems Technical skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Alteryx Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization Proven record of process improvements Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: MBA or CPA Experience in a large financial institution Proven track record of process improvements and delivering results in a fast-paced environmentSimilar remote jobs
