Site Controller - Chemical Manufacturing INEOS Acetyls | Texas City, Texas, United States | On-site Ready to lead finance where your decisions directly influence site performance, investment, and operational strategy? At INEOS Acetyls, our people drive our success. We're looking for an experienced Site Controller to serve as a key member of the Site Leadership Team and lead the finance function at our complex chemical manufacturing facility in Texas City. This is not simply a financial reporting role. You will be the primary financial partner to site leadership, providing the insight, governance, and constructive challenge needed to drive stronger business results. Why this role stands out Key member of the Site Leadership Team Direct influence over major operational, commercial, and capital decisions Ownership of site financial performance, governance, cash flow, and working capital Leadership responsibility for a team of five finance professionals High visibility across Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and Central Finance Opportunity to strengthen processes, systems, controls, and financial performance What you'll be doing Lead the site finance function and serve as a trusted advisor to the Site Manager and leadership team Own the integrity of site financial reporting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow Lead the annual budget, monthly forecast, and site performance review processes Translate operational performance into clear financial insights and recommendations Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and influence business decisions Oversee month-end close, production accounting, inventory valuation, cost accounting, and intercompany transactions Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, internal controls, Delegation of Authority requirements, and INEOS Group policies Own site cash flow forecasting and drive improvements in inventory, payables, receivables, and working capital Provide financial leadership for major contracts, capital investments, and commercial arrangements Maintain the integrity of SAP financial processes, master data, reporting tools, and Oracle HFM submissions Lead internal and external audit readiness and ensure the timely resolution of findings Develop, coach, and manage the site finance team while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA preferred At least five years of relevant finance experience, with significant leadership responsibility Strong manufacturing finance and cost accounting experience Deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, financial controls, and governance Strong SAP experience; Oracle HFM experience is beneficial Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management Strong analytical, numerical, and digital capabilities Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams Strong business and commercial acumen Confident communicator who can influence senior leaders and constructively challenge cross-functional stakeholders Ability to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment What success looks like You ensure the accuracy and integrity of the site's financial reporting while helping leadership make stronger operational and strategic decisions. You provide clear visibility into financial performance, cost drivers, cash flow, working capital, and business risks.
