POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Business Development is responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives, recruiting efforts, and business development activities that support Veritas Funding's market footprint, production goals, and long-term vision. This role partners closely with Executive leadership, Branch Managers, sales teams, HR, marketing, and operations to identify growth opportunities, build strong talent pipelines, support branch expansion, and strengthen a consistent, value-aligned sales culture across the organization.
What You'll Do:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Develop and execute strategic business development and recruiting initiatives to attract Loan Originators, Branch Managers, and branch teams aligned with company goals. Partner with Executive leadership, Branch Managers, HR, marketing, and operations to support growth objectives, staffing needs, onboarding improvements, and sales alignment. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified talent through networking, referrals, industry outreach, social media, database searches, and passive candidate engagement. Identify, promote, and support weekly recruitment efforts, branch expansion opportunities, and potential branch acquisitions. Measure, analyze, and report on recruiting, production, and business development trends; recommend adjustments to improve efficiency, growth, and outcomes. Maintain regular communication with Branch Managers and sales leaders to track progress, address needs, and reinforce accountability to company goals. Champion Veritas Funding's vision, values, culture, and long-term strategy across recruitment, business development, and sales interactions. Support effective use of Veritas technology platforms to enhance productivity, communication, reporting, and recruiting activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
