On-site 4 days per week
Salary:
$120,000-$150,000, depending on experience
Reports To:
Director of Operational ControllingPlant ControllerWe are seeking an experienced Plant Controller to serve as a key financial business partner to plant leadership and Division Finance. This highly visible position will lead the plant's financial activities while supporting operational performance, profitability, compliance, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, financial planning, and team leadership with the ability to work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain. Key ResponsibilitiesLead plant financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, and financial reportingEnsure accurate financial statements and compliance with accounting standards and company policiesPartner with Plant Leadership and Division Finance on business objectives and strategic planningAnalyze plant financial and operational performance and provide actionable recommendationsMonitor costs, variances, KPIs, and profitabilityIdentify and drive cost-saving and operational efficiency initiativesOversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventory, and inventory optimizationPartner with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to align financial and operational goalsEvaluate and support capital expenditure projects and business casesMaintain strong internal controls and ensure SOX complianceCoordinate and support internal and external auditsDrive financial process improvement, standardization, and best practicesLead, coach, and develop the plant finance teamFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field10+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance experienceManufacturing or automotive industry experience strongly preferred5+ years of financial leadership/team management experienceStrong experience with manufacturing cost accountingExpertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, variance analysis, and financial reportingExperience with inventory accounting and plant operationsKnowledge of internal controls, SOX, and audit requirementsExperience with ERP systems and financial planning toolsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical, communication, and business-partnering skillsFluent in EnglishAbility to work on-site in Tremonton 4 days per weekIdeal CandidateWe're looking for a hands-on manufacturing finance leader who understands both the numbers and the plant floor.
