Job Description

APPLIED TECHNOLOGY
(ATI) is a small business headquartered in King George, Virginia, that provides scientific and engineering support services. ATI needs on-site senior accountant services, including support for periodic DCAA audits, annual CPA audits, and contract start-ups and close-outs. This is a full-time position, but part-time will be considered. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, in order to be eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance. Requirements:
U.S. citizenship is a requirement BA degree in accounting (preferred) or business management; CPA license or candidate preferred 3-5 years of experience; knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DCAA, DCMA, DFAS, WAWF, and MOCAS Experienced with QuickBooks Proficient with complex Excel spreadsheets and reporting techniques Strong computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) Excellent verbal and writing skills Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance. Responsibilities Utilize accounting knowledge to maintain accurate financial records following GAAP, FAR, DCAA, and DCMA guidelines. Prepare financial statements and reports using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Assist in financial analysis and budgeting processes. Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Mentor junior staff on accounting principles and best practices. Stay updated on industry standards and implement new financial strategies when necessary.

$80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
