full-time Plant Controller - Manufacturing A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Plant Controller to provide financial leadership and business partnership within a manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for a Plant Controller or Assistant Plant Controller who understands manufacturing finance and enjoys working closely with plant and operations leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead plant financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Provide cost accounting and manufacturing cost analysis, including labor, materials, overhead, and productivity. Partner with plant and operations leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability. Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and fixed asset accounting. Analyze plant performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results and provide actionable insights. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policies. Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational decision-making through meaningful financial analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience as a Plant Controller, Assistant Plant Controller, Accounting Manager or similar manufacturing finance leadership role strongly preferred. Strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis . Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
