Generous vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. Role Overview The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance. This role provides strategic financial leadership, ensures the integrity of financial information, and partners with executive leadership to support organizational goals. The Controller manages the accounting team and drives process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy- Led GL, AP/AR, payroll, and fixed assets. Partnered with executives on long-term financial strategy. Provided analysis and recommendations for growth. Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP statements. Presented key metrics and results to leadership. Built internal control systems and managed audits. Mitigated financial risk and safeguarded company assets. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and explain variances
- Work cross-functionally to align financial plans with operational goals Planning & Operations
- Directed annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Managed, mentored, and developed accounting staff.

- Build a high-performing, accountable finance team Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
- 10-15+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior leadership experience managing accounting teams
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications
- Public accounting or audit experience
- Experience in nonprofit accounting (if applicable)
- Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise SALARY $90,000 - $110,000 annual salary.
