Financial Controller - $3,400/Week Travel Assignment 13-Week Contract | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week Ready for your next finance leadership opportunity? Washington Healthcare Staffing Network (WHSN) is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join a rural healthcare organization on a 13-week travel assignment starting late September or early October. This is a great opportunity to step into a key financial leadership role, make an immediate impact, and earn a strong weekly compensation package. Assignment Highlights $3,400/week with eligible tax-free stipends $3,260/week without stipends 13-week contract Monday-Friday | 40 hours/week

Housing may be available for rent at $500/month based on availability. The candidate is responsible for arranging and paying for their own housing/rent. About the Role The Financial Controller provides financial leadership and oversight for the organization, supporting financial planning, budgeting, accounting operations, and financial reporting. You'll work closely with organizational leadership to help ensure strong financial practices, accurate reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). What You'll Do Lead and coordinate financial planning and budget management activities Oversee accounting functions and financial reporting Ensure accounting procedures comply with GAAP Monitor financial performance and support budget development Assist leadership with financial analysis and decision-making Maintain effective accounting processes and internal financial controls Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Provide financial guidance and support across the organization What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, Finance Manager, or similar leadership role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and financial planning Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and step into a leadership role quickly Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred Why This Assignment?
