OPERATIONS CONTROLLER - APPLETON, WI
Salary:
- $80000 - $85000 / yr

- Job Summary
- Canteen is looking for a detail-driven Operations Controller to be the financial backbone of our regional operations.
- What You'll Do
- + Oversee all cash handling procedures across assigned accounts + Perform reconciliation and analysis for multiple balance sheet accounts + Analyze financial results for both internal and external stakeholders + Track and maintain monthly P&L and balance sheet activity + Develop forecasts and budgets, spotting risks and opportunities along the way + Review general ledgers and balance sheets, resolving accounting and reconciliation issues as they arise + Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports — including fiscal close and internal/external audit reporting — and manage report preparation and distribution + Maintain inventory and cost control procedures + Support Payroll and HR administration + Take on related duties and special projects as needed •What We're Looking For•+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience + 5+ years of experience in revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling + Accounting experience in foodservice or retail required; foodservice operations experience a plus + Skilled at preparing financial statements, key metric reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses + Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage complex financial processes + Experience with POS, cash, and credit card reporting + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Comfortable managing multiple priorities and relationships in a fast-paced environment + Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel + Sharp analytical and organizational instincts + Unwavering personal integrity and ethical standards •Why Join Us•Join Canteen and put your financial expertise to work in an industry where the numbers directly fuel the guest experience.
