North Shore Golf Club in Menasha, Wisconsin, is seeking a Controller to join a private, member-owned club founded in 1930 on the shores of Lake Winnebago. Supported by an engaged membership and a waiting list to join, the Club features a championship golf course that has hosted the Wisconsin State Amateur and State Open, a 22,000-square-foot lakefront Clubhouse, and a newly completed Pool and Lake House. With recent capital investment and a strategic plan underway, the Club offers a stable, well-supported environment in the family-oriented Fox River Valley. The Controller oversees the Club's financial controls, reporting, budgeting, payroll, and HR recordkeeping. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with department heads, the Finance Committee, and the Board of Directors, this role supervises one full-time Club Accountant. Key first-year priorities include establishing a consistent monthly close and reporting package, launching a weekly flash report for department heads, strengthening segregation of duties, and developing the financial model that supports the Club's loan tracking, capital planning, and strategic plan.
