Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring the organization's fiscal health and compliance with regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting, empowering the organization to achieve its mission through sound financial strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and financial analysis, coupled with exceptional leadership skills to inspire teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities Understanding all five dimensions of Holistic Performance Management and how each impact the financial performance of the office Ability to have crucial/courageous conversation with any member of the office (MP included) Understand how financial and projection tools work and can be manipulated to deliver comprehensive financial plans to the MP Manage the finance and accounting office infrastructure that is responsible for the more task oriented, day to day operations and review for the accuracy of the accounting records of the office Process payroll Accountable for financial analysis and recommendation of follow‐up action(s) Works collaboratively with managing partner and director(s) to compare and analyze current financials to projections. Manage cash flow to meet the office needs. Manage banking activities of the office, including the establishment and maintenance of a banking line of credit. Manage company finances including expense allowance program, NO contests to monitor the effects to the financial health of the office Complete analysis to determine if investments in selection, recruiting, and development are working, including pro‐forma statements and return on investment analysis. Process financial representative commissions and allowances. Work with outside accountant in the preparation and filing of the annual federal and state tax returns. Educate new financial representatives on how their compensation is paid through commissions, fees, and bonuses. Forecast and prepare annual budgets for the offices and monitor on a monthly basis Regularly meet with leadership to analyze financial statements in comparison to budget projections and recommend adjustments and corrective action. Establish a good working relationship with the Home Office and work collaboratively to review financials and finance. The qualified candidate should be capable of fulfilling the duties of the Staff Accountant, plus have: Five or more years of experience in accounting, including financial statement preparation, General ledger maintenance, auditing, annual tax filings, payroll, benefits administration, and insurance A Bachelor's Degree or better in Accounting or Finance Strong personal code of ethics, including maintaining confidentiality, a must Strong presentation, negotiation, problem solving, oral and written communication skills Technologically savvy Strong management experience and people skills High self‐motivation and strong organization skills Ability to adapt and learn in a fast‐paced and dynamic work environment Team player and positive attitude
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
