Job Description

LMA (Lead, Manage, anddrive Accountability)Provide strong leadership to the accounting team by setting expectations, holding team members accountable, and fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.

Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing finance organization.

Ensure team alignment with company values, strategic objectives, and compliance expectations.

Financial Reportingand Close ProcessOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP (or applicable framework).Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reporting packages, and supporting schedules for leadership and the board.

Ensure account reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals are completed accurately and on schedule.

Continuously improve the close process to reduce cycle time while maintaining accuracy and control.

Internal Controls andComplianceDesign, implement, and maintain a strong system of internal controls over financial reporting to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other applicable financial reporting standards and requirements.

Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax preparers, and regulatory bodies; lead the annual audit process from planning through completion.

Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and lead implementation of necessary changes to policy or process.

Evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.

Budgeting,Forecasting, and Financial AnalysisSupport the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process, partnering with department and business unit leaders.

Analyze financial results against budget and forecast, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to leadership.

Provide financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making, capital planning, and business initiatives.

Cash Management andTreasury SupportMonitor cash flow and working capital, providing visibility and recommendations to the CFO.Support banking relationships, debt covenant compliance, and treasury activities as needed.

RequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA required or in progress; CPA strongly preferred.7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
