Job Description
Due to an upcoming retirement, a Waukesha country manufacturing company is seeking for direct hire, a Controller. This person will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for all the entire accounting functions for the organization. This position will be groomed to be the head person within 2 years.
This will be a high exposure role that will be heavily involved in making strategic business decisions and will be able to view their direct impact. Job Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, close books on a monthly basis, provide financial analysis, maintain cost standards and report on inventory. Create and maintain accounting policies, practices and procedures. Work closely with and provide accounting support to operations and sales departments. Help support the implementation of new systems and technology. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a Finance degree with manufacturing accounting experience. 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of GAAP Principles and must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Please forward your resume for immediate consideration.
