As part of the credit operations team, you will support the evaluation of credit applications, helping ensure responsible and data-driven lending decisions. Accountabilities In this role, you will support the underwriting function by assisting in credit evaluations, data handling, and operational processes that ensure accurate and consistent lending decisions. Assist in reviewing credit applications and gathering required financial documentation. Support financial data entry, organization, and basic analysis for underwriting assessments. Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of credit decisions. Collaborate with underwriting and credit teams to follow up on applications and resolve data gaps. Contribute to improving internal workflows and underwriting processes. Participate in continuous learning around risk assessment, financial analysis, and credit policies. Requirements The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in a fintech credit environment. You should be comfortable working with numbers and collaborating in a team-driven setting. Background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related fields (recent graduates welcome). Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data. Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for data organization and analysis. Basic understanding of financial concepts and credit evaluation is a plus. Experience or familiarity with data tools such as Snowflake dashboards is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Eagerness to learn and develop in risk, underwriting, and financial analysis. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
