Job Description

We are looking for someone who can: Bind and process new and renewal business with Rural-approved writing companies. Complete transactions and financial data requirements in the system. Perform data analysis to properly determine coverage requirements and place risk with writing companies. Actively monitor and track quoting and binding activity through completion. Collaborate with the team, department, and agency. Assist agents with direct access to carrier and broker sites/systems. Clean up and enter transactional data.
Requirements for success:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 2 years of insurance experience. Property & Casualty Insurance license required. Ability to learn the Company's product portfolio, retention limits, reinsurance procedures, and the Company's philosophy regarding reinsurance submissions. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Effective utilization of computer systems for essential job functions, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with IFBI processing systems as assigned. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both written correspondence and verbal communication. Willingness and demonstrated ability to collaborate with underwriting team members and agents. #HO #LI-SB1 Bachelors or better.
