Underwriting Associate -
P&C Insurance Location:
Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid/Onsite) A national property & casualty insurance organization is seeking an Underwriting Associate to support a growing underwriting team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in commercial insurance underwriting while gaining exposure to a broad portfolio of accounts. Key Responsibilities
  • Support underwriters with day-to-day account management and policy administration
  • Assist with new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, and policy issuance
  • Review applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare underwriting files, schedules, and internal reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely processing
  • Maintain accurate records within underwriting systems and databases
  • Provide general administrative and analytical support to the underwriting team Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance, underwriting support, or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and underwriting systems
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset What's Offered
