Job Description
Interviews will be scheduled 6/17 and thereafter. Excellent entry position in the insurance industry. We are seeking Insurance Rater Trainees to join successful Maine based insurance company.. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow in the insurance industry and is definitely a career builder. Excellent position for accounting or business graduate. Potential for hire.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating insurance applications and determining appropriate rates
- Learn to analyze data and assess risk factors
- Collaborate with senior raters to understand underwriting guidelines
- Provide support in preparing quotes and proposals
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information for rating purposes
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to analyze data and market trends
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Multilingual abilities are beneficial
- Basic understanding of benefits administration
- Interest in outside sales and telemarketing
- Negotiation skills are advantageous
