Job Description

Our client is seeking an organized and customer-focused Assistant Account Manager to support its Commercial Lines team. This individual will work alongside Account Managers servicing mid-sized and large commercial clients by assisting with policy renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, client onboarding, billing support, audits, policy administration, and maintaining accurate client records within the agency management system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in Commercial Insurance while working alongside experienced Account Managers in a collaborative office environment.

100% Onsite Collaborative office environment with direct interaction between Account Managers, Producers, clients, and insurance carriers Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who have: Minimum 1 year of Commercial Lines insurance experience Insurance agency experience strongly preferred Experience supporting Commercial Account Managers or Producers Strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working directly with clients and insurance carriers Experience using an Agency Management System (Applied Epic preferred) Strong Microsoft Office skills Day-to-Day Responsibilities Client Servicing Respond to client requests Answer basic coverage questions Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Process endorsements Process policy changes Assist with cancellations and reinstatements Follow up on outstanding client requests Commercial Account Support Assist with policy renewals Request and review loss runs Gather renewal information Prepare renewal proposals Create insurance summaries Assist with onboarding new clients Process policy audits Maintain policy documentation Communicate with insurance carriers Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate client files Update agency management system Prepare client correspondence Process billing transactions Assist with premium reconciliations Follow agency workflows and documentation standards Must-Have Qualifications 1+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience Insurance agency or insurance carrier experience Experience supporting commercial client accounts Strong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication Strong organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities High attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Applied Epic experience Experience with another Agency Management System (AMS360, Applied TAM, HawkSoft, etc.) Associate's Degree New Jersey Property & Casualty License (Nice to Have - NOT Required) Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
