Job Description

Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager Insurance Agency We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to support our commercial insurance team. This role provides day-to-day administrative and client service support while helping maintain strong relationships with clients, producers, and insurance carrier partners. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Position Overview The Assistant Account Manager plays a key role in servicing commercial insurance accounts by assisting with policy processing, quoting, and client communication in accordance with agency standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide responsive, professional service to commercial clients via phone and email Support account managers and producers with policy servicing and administrative tasks Prepare annual review and renewal correspondence Process endorsements, policy changes, and coverage updates Assist with quoting and marketing for new and existing commercial accounts Work with multiple carrier rating platforms and underwriting guidelines Process additional lines of coverage for existing clients Follow up on cancellations, billing issues, and outstanding items Prepare and issue Evidence of Insurance, Certificates, Auto ID Cards, applications, and cancellation forms Communicate with clients and carriers to obtain information and provide account updates Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and continuing education requirements Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Active Property & Casualty license preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year 2+ years of insurance industry experience preferred Familiarity with commercial lines coverages and insurance carrier products Experience with Applied EPIC agency management system preferred Comfortable navigating multiple carrier portals and rating systems Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Skills & Attributes Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Proactive, dependable, and team-oriented self-starter Why Join Our Team Collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within commercial lines insurance Exposure to multiple carriers and lines of business Ongoing training and professional development Please contact me at (605) 610-3041 to have a conversation about this exciting career advancement opportunity, don't forget to email me your resume to jennifer.thompson@gogpac.com and reference this job in email.
