Schedule:
Full-time (must be available during core hours of 9:00 AM•3:00 PM) Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Services Assistant I to support a high-volume underwriting operations team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for candidates looking to begin or grow a career in the insurance industry. This role focuses on providing operational support to underwriters by managing workflows, processing basic policy transactions, and ensuring timely and accurate handling of incoming requests. Key Responsibilities Manage and triage a shared team inbox, ensuring emails are routed accurately and efficiently Process entry-level underwriting support tasks, including policy binds, endorsements, and cancellations Work within assigned queues to complete tasks in a timely, high-volume environment Ensure accuracy and completeness of policy-related documentation Support underwriting operations by maintaining organized workflows and meeting service level expectations Assist with basic customer service inquiries through internal communication channels Collaborate with team members to support daily operational goals
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Entry-level; prior office or administrative experience preferred Experience working in a production, processing, or high-volume environment is a plus Background in insurance, mortgage, or similar industries is helpful but not required Required Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Analytical mindset with the ability to review and process information accurately Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Additional Information Hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite in Broomfield, CO Core hours must include 9:00 AM•3:00 PM Opportunity for long-term growth within underwriting or related functions Exposure to insurance operations and underwriting processes #IND1 #ZR
