Job Summary Acrisure is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting team through administrative coordination, data entry, and policy documentation activities. This role plays an important part in maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring underwriting information is accurate, organized, and complete. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented, organized, and interested in building a career within the insurance industry. Training will be provided, and prior insurance experience is not required. Responsibilities Support underwriters with administrative and clerical tasks related to policy processing and underwriting activities Enter and maintain accurate information within underwriting systems and internal databases Review underwriting documentation for completeness and accuracy Communicate with agents to obtain missing information and assist with follow up requests Organize and maintain electronic files and underwriting records Assist with workflow tracking and general operational support for the underwriting team Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned Requirements Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Comfortable learning new systems and processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications beneficial Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience beneficial Prior insurance experience not required Education and Licenses High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's or bachelor's degree beneficial #LI-Onsite Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
