Onsite Overview:
We're seeking an I&C Engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, reverse engineering legacy systems, and solving complex problems in a highly regulated nuclear environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on understanding how systems work at the component level and supporting critical safety-related equipment qualification efforts.
Responsibilities:
+ Reverse engineer, troubleshoot, and evaluate obsolete or legacy electronic components and systems + Support Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) activities for safety-related (QL1) equipment in accordance with nuclear quality requirements + Develop, execute, and document test plans for electronic components and assemblies + Design and build test setups and fixtures to support qualification and verification activities + Perform failure analysis, diagnostics, repairs, and technical root cause evaluations + Interpret test data and produce clear, defensible technical reports for engineering and quality records + Ensure all work complies with applicable nuclear codes, standards, and QA requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline + Hands-on experience with electronic systems troubleshooting, testing, or reverse engineering + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation + Experience using standard lab and test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, etc.) + Strong analytical mindset with a structured, detail-oriented approach to problem solving + Comfortable working in a regulated environment where documentation and rigor matter #LI-BB1
