Company has been investing since the 1950's and manages a diverse portfolio of investments in industries such as commercial banking, commercial real estate, oil & gas, franchise restaurants, and ranching. The candidate must be detail oriented, capable of managing varied responsibilities, and conduct themselves with integrity and discretion. Job Duties. The candidates may find themselves doing diverse tasks, such as:
- Initial review and financial modeling of potential investment deals, including marketable securities, private equity investments or commercial real estate opportunities
- Update annual investment portfolio market value analyses and asset allocation reports
- Produce periodic investment reports
- Provide in-depth industry analysis related to current or prospective investments
- Perform portfolio level analyses, including concentration/diversification analyses and investment return analyses
Skills and Experience:
Understanding of investment return calculations and valuation concepts required Ability to anticipate risks of various different types of investments Ability to interact professionally with many different personalities Competence with O365 Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) required Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams Detail oriented Excellent communication skills MBA, CFA or equivalent experience preferred; compensation will be commensurate with experience Knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and similar services is a plus Commercial banking credit training or experience is a plus Excellent Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Short- and Long-term Disability 401K (profit sharing) PTO -Vacation and Sick Days Holidays Job Type:
