Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFinancial Controller Senior Finance Leadership | Project-Driven Environment We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and planning activities for a large, project-based organization operating in complex, regulated environments. This is a senior finance role with responsibility for technical accounting, project controls integration, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities, including project accounting, general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets, and audits Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow modeling, and variance analysis Partner closely with operations and project controls to support financial decision-making Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable tax and regulatory requirements Manage audit processes and support insurance and risk-related financial activities Drive improvements in reporting, FP&A processes, and financial systems (Oracle / reporting tools) Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of accounting professionals Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) CPA or CMA strongly preferred; MBA a plus 10+ years of accounting or finance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role Strong background in project accounting and FP&A Experience in construction, mining, infrastructure, or other project-driven industries preferred Solid working knowledge of IFRS Experience with Oracle and/or Power BI reporting tools Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organization What This Role Offers High-visibility finance leadership role Direct collaboration with senior operations and executive leadership Opportunity to influence financial strategy, controls, and performance Mix of office-based work with occasional site exposure This role may involve limited travel and the ability to operate effectively in demanding, deadline-driven environments. •Only qualified candidates will receive responses•
