Financial Eligibility and Reimbursement Coordinator Full Time - Daylight - Harrisburg, PA Senior LIFE is an innovative home and community based Medicare and Medicaid funded program which provides all-inclusive healthcare services and support to seniors living in the community. Senior LIFE makes it possible for seniors to remain at home, enjoying the comfort and reassurance of familiar surroundings while receiving the care they need. Senior LIFE staff live the mission of the program. Our team is committed to partnering with our seniors to remain at home through promoting open communication and shared decision making while providing excellent care and services. Schedule Monday - Friday, 8a - 430p No Weekends No Evenings No Holidays No On Call Benefits Competitive Pay Comprehensive Benefits 401k PTO Paid Holidays Off Requirements of the Financial Eligibility and Reimbursement Coordinator Bachelor's degree with applicable experience in Health related Field (Preferred) Must have a driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations (Required)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordination of Medicaid (MA) and Medicare benefits with participants, families, and governing agencies. Maintain current electronic case management records, including annual MA recertifications, Skilled Nursing Facility day 31 submissions, and invoicing. Complete documentation of all visits (including episodic, routine, phone calls, home visits, etc.) against the corresponding care plan elements. Communicate participant changes to team members. Provide administrative assistance (applications, forms etc.)/community resources to participants as needed. Assist participants in successful completion of the medical assistance recertification application including submission of all relevant documentation within required timeframes to maintain financial eligibility for Senior LIFE. Keep the participant and family updated about the participant's MA eligibility, Medicare application stats, and any changes with the participant's financial status.EOE INDIDT
