Jenks, OK - Gateway First Bank is evolving! And behind every smart decision is great data. This Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst I role brings budgets, forecasts, and reports together to help the business move forward. Advanced Excel proficiency required; exp with Power BI, SQL financial modeling or similar analytics and workflow automation tools preferred. We would like to see a few years of applicable experience but are open to recent college grads as well! Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
I JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst I is responsible for assisting with financial planning and budgeting processes, preparing financial statements and reports, assisting with financial models and projections, and performing research and analysis as may be required by leadership. I ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(RESPONSIBILITIES):
  • Prepares and analyzes financial statements and reports.
  • Assists with budgeting and monthly close processes.
  • Prepares monthly management and board presentations.
  • Assists with financial projections and building financial models.
  • Manages system updates to changes in the organizational and GL account structures.
  • Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

I REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Basic knowledge of financial planning and analysis policies, procedures and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and multitasking skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
