  • Full-time This individual will cultivate new business relationships, maintain existing accounts, and ensure the fulfillment of established goals through estimating and proposing on fire protection projects.
Embrace a consultative selling technique that includes the ability to analyze client needs, communication appropriate solutions, and facilitate sales to closure. Job Responsibilities Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of new commercial fire sprinkler systems and associated equipment. Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicating effectively to educate the customer about International Fire Protection Inc. capabilities. Create and conduct effective proposal presentations, identifying the customer's fire and life safety issues, the effects of the problems and solutions offered
  • expected to be involved in the production of accurate price quotations.
Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan. Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships that meet or exceed their expectations of a long-term partner. Support other Elite Fire Sprinkler Systems Inc. Teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory. Keep abreast of marketing opportunities through sales calls, networking, and other market related information. Lead customer presentations, "lunch and learns" and other relationship building meetings. Complete understanding of all Elite Fire Sprinkler Systems Inc. and Branch sales pricing worksheets and contract terms. Estimate and Project Manage cleared projects per the project specifications, timelines, and budgetary goals. Qualifications/Requirements NICET Level II or Higher is a must! High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), with a College Degree. Experience in the fire sprinkler, or mechanical, field. Manage Fire suppression projects from concept to installation, overseeing design, job site support/review during installation and manage the scope, schedule and budget for the assigned project. Able to put together estimates based on project specifications. Experience in commercial fire protection industry is a must. Willing to work together as a team with other departments and company locations. Ability to analyze, assess and address customer needs. Active listener with critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills. Project Management Skills. Compile and prepare plan submittals (shop drawings) and material submittals for review by architects, engineers, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction. Prepare project material stocklists to be used for material procurement. Assist with Field engineering troubleshooting and support for the installation operations on the jobsite. Work closely with Clients, installers and teams to get the job done on time and within budget. Other Requirements Valid State Driver License. Regular, reliable attendance. Work productively and meet deadlines timely. Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. Supervisory Responsibilities None
